Sally Porter Munro
Sound Healer, Voice Teacher,
Sally Porter Munro is a classically trained mezzo-soprano, certified sound healer, and spiritual guide who bridges the worlds of music and energy healing with grace and intention.
Originally from London, England, Sally studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and went on to perform with international institutions such as the English National Opera, Royal Opera de la Monnaie in Brussels, and the BBC Singers on both radio and television. After moving to New York City, she deepened her craft with a study of the Alexander Technique, combining vocal mastery with body awareness and breathwork.
Since settling in San Francisco, Sally has sung leading roles with Pocket Opera, Berkeley Opera, North Bay Opera, and the San Francisco Lyric Opera, and has been a featured soloist with orchestras including the Oakland East Bay Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, and the San Francisco Russian Chamber Orchestra. As a full-time member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus, she performed and covered numerous roles until her final bow in December 2022.
Sally’s lifelong connection to sound evolved into a calling to heal. She holds a 200-hour certification in therapeutic sound healing, and specializes in working with Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls to create vibrational experiences that support energetic release, inner alignment, and deep restoration.
She is also a trained Pranic Healer, offering private sessions and group healing experiences. Sally plays an active role in the Bay Area healing community and helps organize the San Francisco Pranic Healing Clinic in the Sunset District every month.
In addition to her voice and sound work, Sally is certified in Primordial Sound Meditation through the Chopra Center, allowing her to guide clients into deep meditative states that reconnect them to their inner peace and spiritual clarity.

Sally continues to offer one-on-one singing lessons, and as a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, helps students unlock their voice, and sing with confidence and an authentic presence. She is also a faculty member of the Young Women’s Choral Project, where she mentors young singers in both technique and soul.
At the core of Sally’s work is a deep love for helping people rediscover who they truly are. Whether through healing sound, meditation, energy work, or voice, Sally is passionate about travelling with others on their spiritual journey toward clarity, purpose, and peace.
